Redress and Phycotherapy
The “victims” are identified and confirmed according to the definition of International Human Rights Law of the United Nations.
If the case remains unresolved for three months and the responsible party continues to ignore the basic rights of the victim(s), evading responsibility deliberately or by delaying settlement of the case, the victim(s) may apply to HK Overseas Services Foundation for humanitarian redress.
Upon receiving due application from the victim(s), HK Overseas Services Foundation will grant redress according to the rules and/or provide phycotherapy by a phycological expert in Hong Kong, in an effort so that the victim can have peace and resolution and be able to move forward with his life.
Rules for Redress :
1). Discrimination, Humiliation, Inhuman Treatment and Restriction of Freedom
2). Violence and Injuries
3). Arbitrary Arrest and unlawful Detention
At the same time the victim(s) can continue to seek justice in local courts for their dignity and fundamental rights, and HK Overseas Services Foundation will use the redress amount which the victim(s) are entitled to get as the initial fund to employ local lawyers for the case.
However, all other expenses beyond the allowed redress amount shall be borne by the plaintiff himself.
